WOLVES fans have the opportunity to get up close and personal with three key men who got them to the Premiership for the first time in their history later this month.
Dave Jones, manager of the 2003 play-off winning side, will be joined by skipper Paul Butler and goalkeeper Matt Murray at the city’s Cleveland Arms pub, Stow Heath Lane, on Thursday September 28.
The trio will appear on stage answering questions about the great day at Cardiff – but also delivering opinions on Jez Moxey, Sir Jack Hayward and other aspects of the club.
“There’s going to be some fascinating inside stories and opinion,” said event organiser Will Adamson. “For example, I know Matt and Paul have contrasting views on Jez Moxey and it could get quite lively!
“It’s also an opportunity to hear Dave Jones talk about his relationship with Sir Jack and the board.
“But we’ll also be hearing their views on the new era the club is going through right now and we expect it to be a fascinating night for every Wolves fan.
“Supporters can also grab pictures with the trio as well as autographs. They will forever be etched into the history of Wolverhampton Wanderers and this will be a memorable evening for sure.”
