JOLEON Lescott is on his way back to Wolverhampton for a special night with fans in December.
Lescott remains a popular figure in the city thanks to his time at Wolves where his career started and he played over 220 games before moving to Everton.
Now he will talk about his career and meet fans at the Cleveland Arms, Stow Heath Lane, on Thursday December 7 – and organisers are bracing themselves for big demand.
He was part of the Wolves side which won promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their history in 2003 at Cardiff and joined the club as a trainee.
It will be the first time the former England international, who won 24 caps, has done a stage appearance and he will be alongside former Molineux team mate Matt Murray.
Event promoter Will Adamson said: “I’m really looking forward to welcoming Joleon to the Cleveland Arms and I’m sure tickets will be in high demand.
“He’s had an amazing career with Premier League titles, promotions, England caps and of course it all started in Wolverhampton.
“It’s great to have his friend Matt Murray with him on the night and it’s a real opportunity for fans to come along and hear his stories and views on various football matters.”
Tickets are on sale from the clevelandarms.com website or the venue itself, by phone 01902 451021. They are priced at £30 VIP to include a meet and greet, buffet, priority seating and signed photo – standard tickets are £12.
