HUGELY popular former Wolves duo Stephen Ward and Stephen Hunt are on their way to a popular sports bar in the city.
The pair will combine for ‘Wardy and Hunty’, hosted by former Molineux stopper Matt Murray, at the Cleveland Arms on Stowheath Lane on Thursday September 30.
It’s the first big even back at the venue which has hosted a long line of former Wolves players and other sporting celebrities over many years.
Ward made over 200 appearances for Wolves over seven years and Hunt spent three years at Molinuex and both are well known as great characters.
Event organiser Will Adamson of the Cleveland Arms said: “We’re naturally delighted to finally have the opportunity to host events and we have Jon Purdie signing books here on Thursday.
“But Ward and Hunt is the first big show back and it’s a huge relief as I’m sure it is to our friends at other event venues throughout the area.
“Matt Murray always does a great job as host of these events and I personally cannot wait to get going again.”
Tickets are being printed shortly and are available to purchase from the venue’s website clevelandarms.com or by visiting the venue personally or call 01902 451021.
VIP packages are available from £30 which includes a picture with the players primted and signed on the night, food and priority seating. Doors open at 6pm for VIPS and standard tickets are £10 with doors opening at 7pm.
